- Pizza lunch to show appreciation to MSU landscape architecture students/faculty for their work on the pavilion, donated by Friends of the Museum (December 2012, on site)
- Summer Solstice Celebration of Water, with Robert Damm leading a circle of drumming participants. The pavilion’s stairwell was opened for viewing of the rooftop garden. (June 2013, hosted by Kasia Gallo and Bill Poe, in museum’s pavilion)
- MSU architecture students held their annual Beaux Arts Ball in the museum pavilion. (April 2013)
- An open house celebrated three national Hall of Fme inductees in three different professional sports who called Starkville home. Bailey Howell and relatives of Cool Papa Bell and Jerry Rice were on hand to meet visitors. The museum’s Board of Trustees hosted the event and provided refreshments in the pavilion. About 100 visitors attended the open house (October 2013)
- The Beaux Arts Ball for MSU architecture students was held in the museum’s pavilion. (April 2014)
- An open house celebrated the new Jones Shoe Shop exhibit (October 2014)
- The Oktibbeha County Barn Quilt Trail kicked off at the museum (October 2014)
